Nana Onishi KOGEI USA Following many exhibitions I have organized in the U.S. over the last 20 years, I heard from art professionals and collectors who want to meet Kogei artists and visit their studios in Japan in order to more deeply understand their artworks. In 2024, I founded an American non-for-profit organization called KOGEI USA and decided one of its missions would be organizing a Kogei Tour in Japan to visit Kogei artists including Living National Treasures to fulfill our supporters’ desire and also to support Kogei’s future. Starting in 2026, our dream will be realized by working with Remote Lands, a NY based luxury travel company and winner of many major travel awards. Together we will launch a series of Kogei art tours to Japan. I am convinced that this tour series will become the strongest and most special tour of which any Japanese art lover could dream.
